Q: What is the OOC forum?
A: OOC (Out Of Character) or OCC (Out of Character Chat) is a topic were you can talk about anything regarding your game. Unlike F2F (Face To Face) roleplaying, out of character comments on PBF (Play By Forum) roleplaying can mess the story flow and break the narrative pace more easily then in F2F games since we're dealing with writing rather then talking. In order to keep the roleplay rhythm, players are encourage to use the OOC topics to ask questions relevant to the scene, characters, NPCs, locations, enemies, facts, or make any comments they deem necessary since it's still a game of human interaction.
Q: What can I post in the OOC forums?
A: Anything you want, providing you keep good manners and abide to the forum rules. While you're still free to ask/comment on the regular game topic, OOC topics will provide more liberty to discussion, since the post doesn't have to be tied down to a character action. It's also a great way to keep the inside jokes running without harming the game timeline
Q: Can anyone post on any OOC topic?
A: That's for the GM to decide. While current players have full access on their OOC game topics, other users need written permission of the GM to enroll in their activities (it can be under any GM post on their OOC topic, providing it sticks there forever). However, keep in mind that this doesn't automatically give you permission to enter on the game topic, you're gonna need another GM permission for that too.
